Daily Doodle : Today in my head, I looked like this ..
(Coz I'm stayin alive)
...but in reality it was just another day :( with lots of disco music :)
I am going to start this thing called 'Daily Doodle' and post doodles whenever I doodle. (So fun to say doodle!)
If you could look inside my body, this is what my stomach would look like:
Here is a sneak peek of my animation for this month's 11 second club competition. :D
I was going through my folders and found this. Well, its not like I had forgotten about it.. it'll always remain at the back of my mind until I finish it. This was a project I started senior year of college - Under the Bed. I directed whatever turned out of the film. We even made a blog for our progress - www.underthbedanimation.blogspot.com
I wish I had finished this film while I was in school. But the lack of a good team just stacked up all the work on me and I was unable to finish it in time. The only other dependable person I had was Darren Simpson. But soon I realized that I should probably be working on my demo reel instead, and I left the project hanging.
Since it was my first film ever, it'll always be special to me and I've sworn to finish it someday. It definitely taught me a lot about myself and my Maya skills. But oh well.. one day when I have some free time, I WILL complete this sucker :).

These buildings belong to San Francisco and the tiny one in the middle belongs to Molly. Still finishing up some details, but here is a work in progress.

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to Al the elephant. He is very happy to see you all and cannot stop dancing.
I am quite pleased with my header and the new feel of the blog. I find it very exciting when I get to design/decorate something. I know this is my blog and it should have the same design as my website..for easy recognition you know. I've been taught that my website, business cards, resume, cover letter etc should all look similar for continuity. As much as I agree, I also disagree.
This is a whole new space waiting to be filled with fun stuff. It was so hard to come down to one design for my website. What about all these other looks I like? I don't just want to give them up! Apart from my logo, I changed things up. So I decided to make this space more casual, fun-er and use/experiment different styles. Hence, the elephant. I love elephants. They're my favorite. I think the fascination comes from my love for Lord Ganesh. Being a Hindu, it can get confusing with so many Gods to follow. But I've always believed in my 'elephant God' probably because his birthday is one of my favorite festivals and my family has a huge celebration every year.
Wow! I totally deviated. I just wanted to introduce my new friend Al. :)
So firstly, my sincere apologies. I promise to entertain you atleast 2-3 times a week. I even updated my 'About me' section.
Secondly, I promise to make you all pretty. I recently discovered all the new features about you and I'm really excited.
So as a present, I give you - Al the elephant. He will keep you company as your header and welcome people who want to look at you! This is just my first draft so bear with me. More to come soon. Take care :)
