A while ago, I got a really interesting inquiry. Here is the backstory:
A and P are friends. P is getting married and A wants to gift her something beautiful
and personalized.
P's favorite thing in the world is this Anime series called 'Bleach'. Here is what the Bleach logo
looks like -
But how can a wedding gift be skulls and flames!
A wedding gift is supposed to beautiful and elegant and lovely!
So the challenge was to incorporate this logo into a pendant design. To the naked eye it must look
like an elegant design .. BUT .. if you're a true fan, you should be able to spot the logo :)
How interesting !
So I sketched out 3 options for A to choose from:
I was delighted to hear that A loved all of them and had a hard time deciding which one to go with :)
But we finally went with Option 2. I cleaned up the lines and presented them with the final design!
