Imagination - Pen and Ink
12:01 AMThe brief for this illustration was to draw something that could go up on the wall of an agency. It was supposed to be fresh, artsy and must evoke some emotions.
My thought process was pretty simple : imagination - ideas - music - nature - art.
So I started with a pencil sketch and created a rough composition. I then went in with my very trusted micron pens and started outlining.
I erased the pencil marks and just kept filling more and more details:
I was finally done with inking. Next, I scanned my artwork
Opened it in Photoshop and started painting in the lines.
And here is the what the final looks like:
Unfortunately this did not go up on the wall. They wanted me to change the horse and somehow the piece got lost between revisions.
Nevertheless, I really love the way it turned out. What are your thoughts?
